A view of the clouds and bare trees as we enter the village of Penobscot, Maine. There were snow flurries and plenty of wind, but no snow on the ground yet.

About deepwoods:

My name is Patty, and I live in the woods of Maine, near the shore. It is very beautiful here, and I love taking nature, wildlife and weather shots. Hiking through the woods is a great interest of mine. My wonderful husband, Dave, along with our sweet Lurcher Drzl, complete our family. (A lurcher is a dog that is one half greyhound and one half any other hound...in Drzl's case her non-greyhound half is Rhodesian Ridgeback.) You'll see both Drzl and Dave in many of my photos. I hope to learn more all the time about photography, and I hope you enjoy seeing Maine through my eyes.
